Working with young people is all about having confidence that you can… The Children and Youth Development Officers have written a seven module course for those who are thinking about getting involved with youth work, new to getting involved, or want to refresh and brush up their skills and thinking.
The seven modules are:
- What is Youth Work?
- Understanding Young People
- Spirituality and Young People
- Reflective Practice
- Life Is A Risky Business
- Programme Building
- Building Purposeful Relationships
Each session lasts 2 hours (with a break for a cuppa) and is free of charge.
The sessions will be offered in each Synod Area and are open to our ecumenical partners.
